 Maca

Maca is one of the country’s leading national charities supporting people with mental-health problems.

We work in partnership with other organisations, such as primary care trusts and local authorities, to run a wide range of mental-health services, including:

community-support services

assertive-outreach services
advocacy services
day-support services
employment-training services
respite schemes for carers
forensic services for people in the criminal-justice system
supported housing
care-homes

We also work to influence national mental-health policy and improve practice in mental-health care. A hundred and twenty-five years old, we are the country’s oldest community mental-health charity.
