Janet Harber

MA Criminal Justice – 1992/93

For a number of years she was the Chair of the “Action for prisoners' Families”, _{then known as the “Federation for Prisoners' Families Support Group”}.

She is concerned with all humanitarian issues, particularly the welfare of prisoners and the cares & difficulties experienced by their families. She speaks eloquently on the plight of prisoners and their families, in addition, she has worked extensively with ex-prisoners, and, for more than 22 years was a prison visitor.

Over the years, she has made an enormous contribution to the needs of others, especially those incarcerated, not just in this country, but worldwide.
